I once again entered the Rust en Vrede Portrait awards and I loved doing this portrait of my son in law. However it was not chosen to go into the top 100. Seriously disappointing, but I do know its personal taste and I realise its not to everyones taste. And of course Im just beginning to paint figurative and portraiture works I know that I have a long way to go. Loving learning though. Its a thrilling challenge.
