The Bone House is in a remote area of the Chris Hani District and Donna was exploring the area on one of her road trips to find reference. She named this house The Bone House because of all the animals bones scattered around the buildings on this almost deserted farm. The farm owner gave her permission to explore the farm, which he was in the process of cleaning up.
