My name is Donna McKellar, a South African artist, living and painting in Cape Town.
My work explores Karoo landscapes, remote buildings, urban scenes, large sea vessels, and occasionally the human form. I’m especially interested in the quiet beauty found in remote and forgotten spaces. Much of what I paint comes from daily observtions – light, architecture, geography, and the emotional traces they leave.
